Job summary

IGS Energy is recruiting an HR professional to support employee relations across the Mass Market South and Canada business units in the United States. The role involves coaching leaders, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliant risk management while partnering with HR leadership.

You will handle policy guidance, documentation reviews, and general HR activities across onboarding, transfers, leaves, and off-boarding, with emphasis on Canadian practices and US employment standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive HR, Employee Relations, or HR Generalist experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting employees in Canada.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on employee relations support across the Mass Market South and Canada unit; coach leaders through performance, conduct, attendance, conflict, policy violations, and investigations.
• Conduct objective workplace investigations with interviews, fact gathering, documentation, analysis, and recommendations; advise on action plans and resolutions.
• Provide general HR support across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, transfers, leaves, accommodations, organizational changes, and off-boarding.
