Job summary

Urgo Medical North America is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead talent acquisition and support HR compliance across North America. The role includes payroll backup and collaboration with leadership on employee relations and performance management.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, with strong recruiting expertise and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience including full-cycle recruitment.
• Working knowledge of Canadian employment laws and HR practices.
• Experience with data analysis for KPI development.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for salaried and hourly roles across multiple functions and locations.
• Partner with leadership on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation per policy and legal requirements.
• Support payroll processing as a back-up to the Payroll Specialist.
• Coordinate training programs and development initiatives.
