Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District TECHNOLOGY SERVICES in Houston is seeking a Computer Technician to provide Tier 1 hardware, software, and network support across campuses. The ideal candidate will be proficient with Windows, macOS, iOS, ChromeOS, Active Directory, and cloud-based LMS tools such as Canvas, Schoology, or Google Classroom, and will pass

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years IT support experience.
• Experience: Troubleshooting hardware/software and supporting staff/students.
• Knowledge: Windows, macOS, iOS, ChromeOS, Active Directory, LMS platforms.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+ preferred; Network+/Security+ beneficial.
• Valid Texas driver license and willingness to travel between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support for hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Troubleshoot, repair, image, and update technology assets across sites.
• Document issues and manage tickets within the service system.
• Support Virtual students with LMS access and remote troubleshooting.
• Coordinate device distribution and asset management with district.
