Job summary

Waco ISD is seeking a Technician – Technology to deliver rapid and effective field services across campuses and administrative offices. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing computers and peripherals, managing work orders, and supporting staff with technology needs.

The role requires two years of college or technical training in computer maintenance, with a valid Texas driver’s license and strong customer service and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or technical school or military training in computer maintenance and repair, or equivalent experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, phone, and email customer service to end-users for hardware and software problems.
• Perform repairs to desktop and laptop computers and related equipment.
• Process and complete technology work orders.
• Evaluate and recommend technology repairs and parts/equipment; assist in upgrades.
• Set up district hardware and software; maintain reports and documents.
• Assist in technology training for campus personnel; participate in policy discussions.
