Job summary

Headway is seeking a Technical Recruiter to own the campus recruiting program as our engineering teams scale for the next growth phase. You will serve as Headway’s primary face to campus talent across technical disciplines, managing events, pipelines, and offers end-to-end.

You’ll partner with TA leadership to build relationships with universities, career centers, and student organizations, drive ROI-focused campus events, and support internship programs from project scoping through evaluation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including campus recruiting experience
• Proven track record building university relationships and running campus events that convert
• Strategic partner to stakeholders, able to navigate ambiguity and drive progress
• Breaks down complex programs into clear execution plans and actionable steps
• Manages multiple workstreams with structure during seasonal spikes
• Creative sourcing and outreach to engage top early-career technical talent
• Focus on candidate experience and community-building, not just pipeline volume
• Clear, confident communication with hiring managers and candidates

Responsibilities

• Drive campus recruiting execution end-to-end: events, pipelines, offers, partnerships
• Manage summer internship program: hiring, projects, onboarding, evaluations
• Build relationships with universities, career centers, student orgs
• Lead campus events: info sessions, career fairs, hackathons, diversity events
• Collaborate with HR to optimize return offers and start-date conversions
• Support full-cycle searches for new grads and interns
• Act as a trusted partner to hiring managers to accelerate progress
• Ensure a consistent, structured, inclusive recruitment process
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage
