Job summary

CapTech Consulting is seeking a Campus Recruiting Specialist to grow relationships with colleges, plan campus events, and manage end-to-end intern/Associate Consultant hiring. You will use Handshake, SmartRecruiters, and other tools to source candidates, run events, and coordinate interviews with internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in technical recruiting or college Career Center roles, strong communication, and willingness to travel up to 50% during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. Any major is welcome to apply.
• 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting or at a college career center.
• Experience using Handshake, or another campus recruiting ATS or CRM, to run on-site or virtual student events and meet-and-greet.
• Experience planning and managing multiple events at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including speaking to large groups.
• Comfortable with recruiting tools such as ATS (SmartRecruiters preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter and DocuSign.
• AI forward mentality: experience with tools such as Copilot, Cowork and LinkedIn AI tools.
• Knowledge of common human resources practices.
• Strong organization and documentation skills, and able to switch focus quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a positive attitude who builds relationships with students, universities and internal stakeholders.
• Able to work some evenings and weekends.
• Able to travel to college recruiting events, which may require several nights away in a row (about 25-50% travel during the fall peak season).

Responsibilities

• Campus relationships and events: grow CapTech's relationships with core colleges and universities and develop recruiting strategies.
• Manage relationships with career centers and university partners.
• Plan and coordinate college career fairs and networking events with alumni ambassadors.
• Represent CapTech at campus events to strengthen brand awareness among students and candidates.
• Create and deliver workshops and presentations, in person or virtual.
• Track and report recruiting metrics after campus events.
• College and intern hiring: source and select candidates for Associate Consultant and Internship positions.
• Own the full recruiting process for college and intern roles from sourcing to offer.
• Post openings on CapTech's website and Handshake or college CRM platforms.
• Identify and engage students via multiple channels, using AI tools for outreach.
• Use SmartRecruiters to move candidates with notes and documentation.
• Coordinate final-round interviews (Power Day).
• Collaborate with marketing to promote roles and events and deliver communications.
• Work with Learning & Development to ensure onboarding.
• Experienced technical recruiting support: assist full-cycle recruiting for experienced technology roles as needed.
• Help build and maintain a pipeline of top consultants.
• Additional responsibilities: support internal recruiting initiatives and ad hoc projects.
• Collaborate with Practice Areas, Learning and Development and HR.
