Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Customer service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Sign for all accountable mail.
  • Sort and distribute all mail including campus mail.
  • Write notification cards and get signatures for all packages.
  • Sell stamps, money orders, etc. and assist customers as needed.
  • Weigh and meter all outgoing mail.
  • Charge departments for postage used & run daily postage report.
  • Maintain accurate stamp inventory.
  • Issue post office boxes to students and maintain filing records for post office boxes currently in use.
  • Follow USPS Dangerous Goods and Export Compliance safety regulations.
  • Separate and forward mail as necessary.
  • Return mail & forward mail in accordance with USPS regulations.
  • Run bulk mailings.
  • Complete daily financial report (Form 1412-B) as required by USPS and deposit into USPS bank account when required.
  • Pick up mail at the Southern Hills branch Post Office when assigned.
