Job summary

Monroe Community College is seeking a Part-Time - Student Employee in the Mail Services Department for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. This position supports mail delivery campus-wide, front desk customer service, and sorting of incoming and outgoing mail.

Eligible students may qualify for Federal Work Study or departmental funding, with pay rate of $18.00 per hour and up to 20 hours per week between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Applicants must be MCC students in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Monroe Community College.
• Must maintain satisfactory academic progress and be in good academic standing.
• Federal Work-Study eligibility is required for FWS-funded positions.
• Preferred: bilingual in Spanish or other languages.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk customer service; answer phones.
• Sorting of incoming and outgoing mail, packages with pick and delivery.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and walk long distances in and around the college campus.
• Must work well within a team environment.
