Job summary

The College of St. Scholastica is seeking a student employee to assist with daily operations in receiving services and to support campus mailroom tasks. You will sort and process packages, deliver to campus offices, and perform basic data entry and clerical duties.

Requirements include current or incoming CSS student status, federal work study eligibility, and strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills. A professional presence and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current or incoming CSS student.
  • Federal work study eligibility is required (international students exempt).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills required.
  • Standing, lifting and walking during shift.
  • Professional presence to represent the College to the public.
  • Ability to perform all functions during an assigned workday without significant risk of injury.
  • Good attendance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily operations of receiving services.
  • Sort and process incoming/outgoing packages (UPS, FedEx, Amazon).
  • Deliveries to offices on campus (Tower Hall, Science building, Somers Hall, Wellness Center, Monastery, BHC/Westwood).
  • Operate office equipment (fax, scanning, copying); take and distribute messages; data entry.
  • Retrieve supplies when needed; keep area clean and tidy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
