Job summary

SMWC is seeking a dedicated Mailroom Clerk to receive, sort, process, and distribute mail and packages for students, faculty, and staff on campus. The role emphasizes accurate, timely delivery and organized record-keeping while delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants should be SMWC students with strong communication skills, punctuality, and basic computer abilities, plus knowledge of the campus operations to support daily mail activities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Punctuality and reliability are required.
• Basic computer skills are acceptable.
• Knowledge of SMWC campus and procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages for students, faculty, and staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of correspondence and maintain organized mail records.
• Provide excellent customer service to campus community and assist with package pickup.
• Maintain logs/records of mail distribution and coordinate with campus mail operations.
