Campus Apartments in Baton Rouge is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Manager to drive on-site leasing, marketing and outreach efforts. You will lead tours, handle inquiries, and implement renewal programs with a focus on maximizing occupancy and maintaining financial stability.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and admin skills, plus proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook and familiarity with Entrata.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Computer skills and math ability.
Accurate typing and record keeping.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of Entrata is preferred.
Ability to follow through with all necessary paperwork and ensure all deadlines are met.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally while operating in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Market and lease units to maximize occupancy.
Serve as first contact for leasing inquiries; schedule appointments; lead tours.
Develop proactive marketing initiatives and renewal programs.
Reach and maintain maximum occupancy at market rates for fiscal stability.
Review market surveys to stay informed of local markets.
Walk model units daily to ensure readiness for presentation.
Record traffic and activity daily.
Follow up on by-phone completion of work orders weekly.
Notify prospects of application acceptance or rejection within 24 hours.
Assist with hiring and training new leasing personnel.
Answer telephones as needed.
General administrative duties such as filing and typing.
