Job summary

Campus Apartments seeks an enthusiastic Leasing Agent to join our Baton Rouge property team. The role supports daily operations, drives leasing activity to maintain high occupancy, processes applications, and assists with renewals and reporting.

This person will also help market the property and develop retention programs while delivering excellent customer service. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, valid license, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Entrata is preferred.
• Accurate typing and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing to achieve full occupancy and manage renewal offers and availability.
• Approve, enter and present rental applications for execution.
• Manage property licenses and renewal processes with legal counsel and City.
• Assist with check-out, inspect vacated units, and ensure final account accuracy.
• Respond to resident concerns promptly and maintain good public relations.
• Prepare weekly property performance reports and contribute to marketing programs.
• Support resident retention initiatives and advertise the property to the market.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees and vendors.
