Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Director of Learning & Development to lead in-person programs for K‑8 students. You will run life-skills workshops, motivate cohorts, and coach Guides to deliver with enthusiasm.

This role emphasizes data-informed decisions, coaching excellence, and scalable program leadership. You will relocate to support campus development, build a high-performing team, and establish Alpha’s foundational culture across your territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in education, learning and development, coaching, or similar field.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of 5+ individuals.
• Experience creating and executing educational programs or curricula.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate one-hour workshops on life skills and SEL for K-8 students.
• Lead daily motivational sessions driving weekly milestones and engagement.
• Develop Guides through coaching and feedback to ensure enthusiasm and accuracy.
• Analyze Coachbot data and student records to target needed support.
• Mentor the student cohort and Guides, modeling coaching and motivation.
