Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced Unit Chef for Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY. You will supervise culinary operations and participate in meal preparation for multiple campus locations as assigned.

The ideal candidate has culinary certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience, at least three years in culinary management, and strong leadership and communication skills. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Certification by a recognized culinary institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years’ experience in culinary management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, and supervising culinary operations of retail and catering services.
• Planning menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutritional considerations.
• Conferring with district managers or other departments regarding daily aspects of dining service.
• Directing and coordinating the work of kitchen staff.
• Other tasks as assigned.
