Elior North America is hiring a Unit Chef for the Elior Collegiate Dining team at Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY. You will supervise culinary operations and participate in meal preparation for multiple locations as assigned.

The role requires culinary certification and at least three years of culinary management experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills. It is an onsite, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification by a recognized culinary institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years’ experience in culinary management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Nice-to-haves: at least one year’s experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, and supervising culinary operations of retail and catering services.
• Planning menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutrition.
• Conferring with district managers or other departments regarding daily dining service aspects.
• Directing and coordinating the work of kitchen staff.
• Other tasks as assigned.
