Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced cook to join the kitchen team at Wheeling University. You will work in a fast-paced setting, ensuring quality, portion control, and high standards while preparing meals with scratch cooking techniques.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to multitask, and proper use of kitchen equipment, with a strong focus on safe food handling and presenting delicious, well-styled dishes.

Qualifications

• At least one years’ prior culinary experience in a quality and high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
