Job summary

University of New England seeks a Technology Support Specialist to manage a Mac and PC environment, solving a wide range of issues and delivering strong customer service across two campuses. You will handle imaging, hardware/software troubleshooting, and enterprise-level IT operations while engaging with the UNE community via phone, email, and in-person support.

The role emphasizes collaboration with ITS staff, training users, and contributing to campus-wide IT projects, with a focus on detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years in related computer field.
• Experience with imaging, Windows and macOS, and security tech.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot Macintosh and Windows laptops, desktops and peripherals.
• Monitor and resolve incoming requests via tickets, email, phone and walkup.
• Provide classroom and user training on technology operations.
• Collaborate with ITS staff to resolve campus IT issues.
• Support campus-wide initiatives with management and colleagues.
