The University of New England seeks a Technology Support Specialist to initiate and support a Mac and PC environment, solving a wide range of application and technical problems with strong customer service and communication. The Technology Support Specialist will initiate and support a Mac and PC environment, solving a wide range of application and technical problems, demonstrating superior problem solving skills and a strong combination of customer service, communication, and technical abilities. This position will work as part of a team across two campuses and interact with all members of the University community via phone, email, walk-up and office visit support. Technical experience that includes maintenance and imaging of laptops and desktops, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, deep understanding of the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, and an understanding of how technology works in an enterprise level environment is essential to success in this role.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of four years experience and education in related computer field.
