Job summary

Texas A&M International University’s Office Of Information Technology is seeking a student worker to support classroom and lab technologies. You will assist users with accounts, hardware, and software issues, and help manage tickets in the system to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires enrollment at least half-time in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields, with GPA requirements, and on-campus, face-to-face work.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a TAMIU student in a relevant field (Info Systems, CS, Business).
• Maintain GPA: 2.0 undergrad, 3.0 grad per policy.
• Meet SAPP requirements and on-campus status.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with account, computer, and telephone issues via email, phone, chat/remote, in person.
• Troubleshoot PCs, Apple systems, and software applications.
• Verify KIOSKs and Digital Signage weekly.
• Maintain ticketing system documentation.
• Decommission nonfunctional equipment to surplus.
