Job summary

Boldyn Networks is seeking a Field Service Representative on the campus of Georgia Southern University-East Campus for a 1-year contract. You will provide exceptional on-site IT support, install and maintain hardware, manage tickets, and coordinate with vendors to ensure uptime for education technology.

The role requires 1–3 years of Windows/Mac support, experience with a ticketing system, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years Windows and/or Mac OS hardware/software support.
• 1–3 years of help desk experience in a medium to large environment.
• Microsoft Office support including Outlook/Exchange and SharePoint Online; Google G-Suite, Zoom, Schoology, and others.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers.
• Respond to emergency outages promptly.
• Maintain own schedule for onsite customer appointments within 24-48 hour SLA.
• Configure, install, and support hardware and peripherals (laptops, desktops, monitors, keyboards, printers).
• Support Windows, Mac OS, and potentially Linux systems.
• Manage tickets using the help desk ticket queue.
• Track and update escalation tickets.
• Maintain inventory and notify when thresholds reached.
• Prepare equipment for deployment using imaging tools.
• Manage accounts and equipment for new-hire/termination processes.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty support (Dell, Cisco, Aruba/HP, CDW).
• Provide end-user training sessions on IT topics.
