Job summary

Boldyn Networks seeks a Field Services Representative (Part-Time) in Pensacola, FL, to support on-campus IT infrastructure for university and college partners. You will provide exceptional service, handle end-user and network escalations with Boldyn Networks, and coordinate client activities such as move-ins while maintaining a 24–48 hour SLA.

The role requires hands-on networking experience, outage troubleshooting, alarm monitoring, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial-grade networking equipment.
• Experience with fiber and copper networks (PON, DSLAMS, RF, QAM).
• Understanding of electrical, analog, digital, electronic, switch and routing concepts.
• Certifications such as Net+, CCENT, CCNA, CWTS.
• Experience with Cable TV headend equipment.
• Associate's degree or higher in a technical field with 2+ years experience.
• 2-3 years of help desk or technical support experience.
• 2-3 years of customer support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers.
• Coordinate with Boldyn Networks to handle escalations.
• Coordinate client activities (e.g. move-ins).
• Respond to emergency outages promptly.
• Monitor, investigate and retire equipment alarms.
• Collaborate with local network partners to address escalated issues.
• Maintain schedule for onsite customer appointments within 24-48 hour SLA.
• Track and update escalation tickets.
• Assist with customer install activities as needed.
• Ensure policies are upheld in your region and generate reports.
