Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking a Computer Resources Technology Support Specialist III to independently diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, networking and AV issues within the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration.

The role supports installation, maintenance, deployment, and documentation of computer and classroom technologies across the college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with four years of relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting and enterprise IT solutions.
• Advanced project management, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technology support for faculty, staff, and students.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, software, networking, and AV systems.
• Assist faculty with online technologies and digital course content.
• Help faculty become more self-sufficient with instructional technology.
• Design, maintain, and document technology support processes.
• Recommend technology upgrades and improvements.
• Provide technical support in person, virtually, by phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Maintain technology budgets and procure hardware and software as needed.
