Job summary

Collegis Education is seeking an IT Support Specialist based at Caldwell University to deliver hands-on technology support for students, faculty, and staff across campus.

You will maintain Windows and Mac environments, assist with AV setups for meetings and events, and help manage Active Directory and Office 365/Exchange. The role requires after-hours availability and occasional travel to remote sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Windows and Mac operating systems in a corporate or campus environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows desktop OS and basic office applications.
• Experience administering user and group objects in Active Directory.
• Experience administering Office 365/Exchange mailboxes.
• Experience with desktop imaging tools (SCCM/WinPE preferred).
• Ability to provide after-hours support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with focus on process adherence and organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Periodic travel may be required to remote sites for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technology support to students, faculty, and staff across campus.
• Maintain a mixed PC and Mac environment and troubleshoot telecom/networking issues.
• Develop SOPs, FAQs, and maintain knowledgebase content.
• Support user accounts in Windows AD, Microsoft 365, and Exchange.
• Manage asset inventory and lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
• Participate in team and client meetings and assist other ITSS teams when needed.
• Provide after-hours support during outages or urgent needs.
• Ensure information security policies are followed and report issues as required.
• Support AV setup, operation, and troubleshooting for meetings and events.
