Job summary

Suffolk University seeks an IT Support Specialist to respond to end users, diagnose hardware and software issues, and provide classroom and event support for live and remote presentations. The role includes building and maintaining Virtual Desktop environments and assisting with AR/VR/AV deployments across Arts & Design, SUPD, CHW and other departments.

You will deliver training, document solutions in the knowledge base, and assist with emergencies and security incidents while supporting faculty

Qualifications

• Responds to end users and resolves complex computer hardware and/or software problems.
• Provide in-person and remote service and support for live classroom and event presentation as well as webinar/web-meeting/streaming formats.
• Build, manage and support Virtual Desktop instances and related academic applications.

• Provide in-person and remote support for classrooms, events, webinars, and streaming.
• Configure and deploy computer hardware for specialized systems and manage virtual desktops.
