Job summary

Collegis Education, in partnership with Missouri Baptist University, seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technology support for students, faculty, and staff across campus.

You will maintain a mixed PC/Mac environment, handle end-user issues, AV support for meetings and events, and help uphold security and standard operating procedures while working on-site and coordinating with campus IT teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Windows and Mac in a corporate or campus environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and basic Office applications.
• Experience administering user and group objects in Active Directory.
• Experience administering Office 365/Exchange mailboxes.
• Experience with desktop imaging tools (SCCM/WinPE preferred).
• Ability to provide after-hours support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on process adherence and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Periodic travel may be required to remote sites for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support a mixed PC and Mac technology environment.
• Diagnose and repair telecom and networking infrastructure, partnering with the Network team for guidance.
• Develop SOPs, FAQs, and maintain knowledgebase content.
• Support user accounts within Windows Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Maintain real-time inventory controls of assets, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
• Be available for outages and urgent needs, including after-hours support.
• Enforce information security policies and report security-related issues.
• Assist other teams on additional duties as assigned.
• Serve as the campus AV resource for meetings, classes, and events.
• Set up and operate AV equipment including projectors, screens, audio, cameras, and video Conferencing systems.
