Job summary

Northern Arizona University is seeking a Manager, Housing to oversee year-round housing assignment, occupancy management, and related operations for 7,500+ bed spaces. The role reports to Campus Living Operations and leads a team of Housing staff to ensure accurate room assignments, billing, and service delivery across campus living communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex room selection, assignment and billing processes utilizing StarRez housing software system, PeopleSoft (LOUIE) and Enterprise Reporting for 7,500+ bed spaces.
• Work extensively with StarRez housing information system for space type, usage, capacity, allocation, online room selection and reporting.
• Facilitate annual assignment of 10,000–15,000 room selection times and 20+ room selection processes.
• Design and implement student housing occupancy timelines and setup for each application/room selection cycle including academic year, spring-only, summer and downtime housing.
• Coordinate staffing, training and communication; set up occupancy timelines and processes per term.
• Contribute to the occupancy plan with date-driven schedules and external/partner requests; support conference services needs.
• Track space usage to ensure timely audits with maximum occupancy and maintain occupancy records.
• Coordinate transfers, reassignments, and communications with campus living staff and students.
