Qualifications

Job description

The Associate Director of Housing Operations manages the logistical, operational, and facility-based functions of campus housing. This position ensures efficient occupancy management, oversees housing software systems, directs room assignment processes, leads departmental key management, and collaborates closely with Plant Operations and external vendors to maintain safe, functional residential spaces. This role serves in the professional staff on-call emergency response rotation.

• Occupancy Management& Assignments:Direct all room selection, room changes, housing contract administration, exemption requests, and occupancy forecasting.
• Facilities&VendorRelations:Act as the primary liaison to Plant Operations, tracking work orders, damage assessments, and capital improvement projects. Manage relationships with laundry, micro-fridge, and key control vendors.
• SystemsAdministration:Manage the department's housing management software (StarRez), data reporting, departmental key management, and billing processes incoordination with Financial Aid and the Bursar.
• Summer Operations:Oversee summer housing logistics and early arrivals; collaborate with Conferences on summer conference housing operations.
