Position Description

The Associate Director of Housing Operations manages thelogistical, operational, and facility-based functions of campushousing. This position ensures efficient occupancy management,oversees housing software systems, directs room assignmentprocesses, leads departmental key management, and collaboratesclosely with Plant Operations and external vendors to maintainsafe, functional residential spaces. This role serves in theprofessional staff on-call emergency response rotation.

Position Responsibilities

• Occupancy Management & Assignments: Directall room selection, room changes, housing contract administration,exemption requests, and occupancy forecasting.
• Facilities & Vendor Relations:Act as the primary liaison to Plant Operations, tracking workorders, damage assessments, and capital improvement projects.Manage relationships with laundry, micro-fridge, and key controlvendors.
• Systems Administration: Manage the department'shousing management software (StarRez), data reporting, departmentalkey management, and billing processes in coordination withFinancial Aid and the Bursar.
• Summer Operations: Oversee summer housing logistics andearly arrivals; collaborate with Conferences on summer conferencehousing operations.
