Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a Manager, Campus Property Services to lead building maintenance, custodial and grounds operations across multiple campuses. You will direct daily activities, implement SOPs, and coordinate with other departments on special projects to ensure efficient campus operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience, with preference for supervisory experience and professional facility management certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination
• Experience in a supervisory role is preferred
• CFM or FMP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for building maintenance, custodial and grounds
• Direct and coordinate department activities to ensure timely completion of work
• Review reports, records, and directives to plan department activities
• Provide operational leadership and develop SOPs across units
• Coordinate with other departments on special campus projects
• Manage service contracts with external vendors
• Schedule, assign, and monitor workload of staff
• Hire, train, and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Prepare and analyze performance and expense reports
