Lone Star College System is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform beginner-level maintenance, repairs, and installations on campus buildings and equipment. This role supports daily operations and ensures a safe, functional environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities include inspections, routine maintenance, carpentry assistance, and coordination across campus locations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a Texas driver’s license.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas driver's license and ability to obtain insurance.
• 1+ year experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field preferred.
• HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications preferred.

Mansioni

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, classrooms, offices and common areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist in carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Maintain and repair doors and windows.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and other departments to complete projects.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles for tasks.
• Ensure safety and adhere to Property Services expectations.
• Provide emergency on-call support as required.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
