Job summary

Texas Southmost College is seeking a Facilities Manager to plan, direct, and supervise the operational and maintenance activities of campus facilities and infrastructure.

You will oversee maintenance staff, manage budgets, ensure safety and ADA compliance, and coordinate with other departments and external agencies to keep the college properties reliable and well-maintained.

This full-time role may require evenings or weekend coverage according to deadlines and events.

Qualifications

• Experience managing building operations and maintenance programs.
• Ability to coordinate multiple sites and supervise staff.
• Knowledge of safety, ADA, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, maintains, and manages the operations and reliability of College facilities and general infrastructure systems.
• Monitors preventative maintenance processes and facility inspections; administers procurement and contracts.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety standards, and ADA requirements.
