San Mateo County Community College District seeks a Facilities Supervisor to direct and manage the workloads of senior maintenance engineers, maintenance engineers, and utility engineers at the District Office campus.

You will oversee routine maintenance, coordinate vendors, review blueprints for compliance, manage discretionary budgets, and train staff while collaborating with management to ensure safe, efficient facilities operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus a recognized journeyman program in building maintenance.
• Experience in a complex facilities environment with multiple systems and equipment.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
• Skill in training and directing the work of others and in budget management.
• Ability to use software to prepare documents and plans (Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD).
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow complex instructions; supervisor coursework within six months.
• Valid California Driver's License and forklift certification or plan to obtain within six months.

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage workloads and schedules of senior maintenance engineers and others.
• Assist in developing and delivering training programs.
• Lead campus engineering staff and collaborate with management.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs by staff and vendors; ensure safety and quality.
