This working supervisor role combines field work with ownership of systems, planning, and execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in building maintenance with supervisory experience, and familiarity with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, facilities, or property operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Experience with building automation systems (BMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee routine maintenance and repairs across buildings and systems.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues to prevent water damage.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and follow safety protocols (LOTO).
• Maintain HVAC systems, filters, and monitor equipment.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and manage work orders for timely completion.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Track departmental budget including labor and materials.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
