Job summary

CCBC seeks an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the college's facilities, manage maintenance staff, and ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance across all campus buildings and utilities such as heating, cooling, electrical and plumbing systems.

You will develop and monitor departmental budgets, plan preventive maintenance programs, coordinate with external contractors, supervise energy management initiatives, and provide effective

Qualifications

• Six years of progressively responsible maintenance experience in building mechanical systems.
• Formal training and licensed in HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems; EPA CFC certification.
• Electrical License, Siemens Master Programmer, and HVAC Masters License preferred.
• Second Grade Stationary Engineers License required; First Grade preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct operations of the College department or division.
• Develop and maintain departmental records and reports.
• Develop and administer departmental policies and procedures.
• Train and evaluate assigned staff.
• Develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervise energy management programs.
• Ensure safety and compliance across campus facilities.
• Respond to emergencies and standby for building operations as needed.
