Job summary

CSUMB is seeking a Facilities Project Specialist to provide advanced administrative analysis, strategic planning, and project management for Facilities Management programs. The role involves leading complex projects, developing integrated schedules, and coordinating with campus stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and measurable service delivery.

Qualifications

Specialized skills include independently leading or managing facilities, construction, maintenance, events, or operational projects in a higher education environment.
Ability to develop and implement project strategies, work plans, integrated schedules, dashboards, and performance measures.
Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, concurrent facilities projects from intake through completion, defining scope, milestones, and resources.
Develop integrated 30-, 60-, and 90-day schedules and longer-term planning tools.
Provide functional leadership and coordinate with campus partners to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.
