The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Building Attendant II for part-time shifts on the UT Main Campus. The role supports daily cleaning, floor care, restroom maintenance, and space readiness for events, ensuring facilities are clean and safe for university activities.

Responsibilities include room set-ups, equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols. Eligible applicants should have some custodial or facilities experience; applicants must pass background and tests as required

Formación

• Experience in custodial, environmental services, hospitality, warehouse, production, or facilities maintenance.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• High school graduation or GED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the area outside the facility remains neat and clean.
• Assist with floor care, including shampooing carpets and finishing floors.
• Clean and maintain the male and female restrooms.
• Assist with room set-ups and breakdowns for special events.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and remove trash throughout the facility.
• Follow job requirements and directions from building supervisors.
• Operate custodial equipment safely and use required materials.
• Other duties as assigned by building supervisors.
