University of Texas at Austin seeks a Building Attendant II - Facilities (Part time) to maintain cleanliness across Residence Halls and UHD facilities on the UT Main Campus. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, with a Saturday-Sunday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and pays $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, offices, dining halls, and floors; transporting trash; following policies; and assisting with furniture movement.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in custodial maintenance work

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, offices, residence halls, dining halls, and kitchens. Consistently transport trash and supplies between floors.
• Respond and follow through with written and oral University and Housing and Dining policies, procedures, and work-related instructions from supervisors, team leaders, co-workers and residents.
• Remove trash from building and take to trash compactor outside.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and extract carpets.
• Strip, mop, and wax floors.
• Move and arrange furniture.
