Oklahoma State University in Stillwater is seeking an Event Specialist to design, organize, support, and execute CVM events, providing supervision and training for student workers while coordinating venue, catering, and attendee experience.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, aims for high levels of customer service, and involves creating registrations, invoices, reports, and promotional activities. Some evenings and weekends and seasonal hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or higher educated with four years of related experience, or two years post-secondary education plus two years related experience.
• Must have experience working with audio visual equipment.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement and evaluate procedures for events and attendee experiences.
• Schedule events including venue, catering, and registration; manage invoices and receipts.
• Promote events and recruit sponsors/exhibitors; produce thorough reports.
• Supervise and train student workers and coordinate face-to-face and virtual events.
