Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Recreation Management, Leisure Studies, Exercise Science or related field (degree conferred by start date)
One year of related professional experience. A two-year Graduate Assistantship will be considered as 1-year full-time experience.
Post-secondary education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily facility operations, staffing, maintenance coordination, and policy enforcement.
Recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating student Operations Attendants, Supervisors, and a Graduate Assistant Operations.
Ensuring facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and readiness via routine inspections.
Supporting customer service by ensuring facilities are welcoming, clean, safe, and appropriately staffed.
Assisting with payroll processing, budgeting, and inventory management for operational supplies, safety equipment, and facility resources.
Contributing to risk management through safety audits, incident response, emergency preparedness planning, and staff training.
Monitoring facility compliance with safety standards and best practices.
Assisting with development and delivery of safety trainings for student staff, including emergency response and hazard recognition.
Providing on-site supervision during evening and weekend hours as needed.
