Job summary

Laurel Ridge Community College — Middletown Campus — seeks an Enrollment Services Specialist to provide Welcome Desk coverage and serve as the first contact for students, visitors, and community members.

You will use SIS to facilitate enrollment tasks, assess residency and tuition status, and connect students with advising, orientation, and financial aid, while collaborating across departments and supporting evening coverage as needed.

• Proven ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with a diverse population.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assess student needs and apply policies to provide solutions.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of student records.

Responsibilities

• Provide Welcome Desk coverage and serve as first contact for students, visitors, and community members.
• Assist with new student processes and connect students to advising, orientation, and financial aid.
• Review domicile documentation and determine tuition status per state law and SCHEV guidelines.
• Resolve enrollment holds and update data using SIS; support college-wide initiatives.
