Job summary

DSST Public Schools is hiring a Community Engagement and Recruitment Manager to coordinate campus-based partnerships and family engagement to drive student recruitment and enrollment across middle and high schools. This in-person role reports to the School Director and collaborates with the Home Office and network teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in recruitment or community engagement, strong communication and project management skills, and a commitment to building authentic community

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of recruitment or sales experience.
• 2–3 years of student recruitment, family engagement, or community engagement.
• 3+ years of project management or customer service experience.
• Self-driven with little direction; can consult with School Directors as needed.
• Ability to influence leaders and advise School Directors.
• Strong cultural competency; able to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to attend/coordinate community events outside regular hours.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Suite, ReachWell, HubSpot, website editing, social media; willingness to learn systems.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all efforts to foster partnerships with families and communities to support student recruitment and enrollment.
• Work with school leadership teams, Front Office, and Home Office to strengthen staff initiatives and data-driven actions aligned to enrollment and family engagement goals.
• Develop campus-based vision for community and family engagement and oversee timely family communications.
• Lead community events and outreach activities to boost enrollment and school partnerships.
• Analyze enrollment data, track progress toward goals, and adjust strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with external partners and network colleagues to expand community ties.
