Job summary

Des Moines Prep, a new public charter school in downtown Des Moines, seeks a Student Recruitment and Enrollment Manager to drive enrollment by building relationships with families and community partners. You will manage the full admissions process from inquiry to enrollment and ensure a welcoming, mission-aligned experience for each family.

The role blends marketing, relationship building, and project management in a fast-paced setting, with evenings and weekend events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in marketing, community outreach, or related fields.
• Education experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across diverse communities.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends for events.

Responsibilities

• Direct Community Engagement with partners, families, and local organizations.
• Lead generation and engagement through events, referrals, and campaigns.
• Marketing and communications across social and print materials.
• Family communication as primary point of contact from inquiry to enrollment.
• Oversee application management, enrollment timelines, and data reporting.
• Plan and execute recruitment events and campus tours.
• Collaborate with school leadership and OE network on campaigns.
