Job summary

DSST Public Schools seeks a Dean of Students to lead a joyful, inclusive school culture across multiple Denver and Aurora campuses. You will coach teachers and leaders, shape classroom environments, and oversee behavior and intervention programs to ensure student success.

You will collaborate with families, support staff development, and help maintain DSST’s culture leadership initiatives. This is a full-time, in-person role starting Summer 2027 with relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or current enrollment in a DSST-approved program.
• Strong commitment to educational equity and culturally responsive practices.
• Proven relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience fostering inclusive, supportive school cultures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strong, inclusive school culture across multiple campuses.
• Coach and develop teachers, staff, and grade-level leaders to improve culture and engagement.
• Monitor behavior plans and interventions with special education and mental health teams.
• Develop partnerships with families and community to support student achievement.
• Collaborate with leadership to recruit, hire, and retain staff and sustain systems.
