Job summary

Rhodes College is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join the Information Services team. You will provide end-user desktop and endpoint support for faculty, staff, labs, and classrooms on Windows and MacOS, with secondary AV system support across the campus.

You will deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot computers using SCCM and Intune, and collaborate with colleagues on standards, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, CS, or related field required.
• Experience supporting desktop and laptop computers in professional/college setting.
• Strong Windows and macOS knowledge; familiarity with JAMF beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop/laptop, software, printers, and peripherals support.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and replace computers for campus users.
• Install OS updates and software via SCCM and Intune; manage patches.
• Support classroom audiovisual systems and instructional tech.
• Collaborate on desktop standards and preventative maintenance.
