Job summary

The Rockefeller University seeks a Computer Support Specialist to deliver proactive end-user help desk support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across campus.

You will work at the walk-up desk and via the ITSM platform, collaborating with IT groups to resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Experience with Mac/Windows/Linux, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a busy, lab-focused environment are essential. A bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Apple and Windows devices, and related network/OS support.
• Experience with break/fix for mobile devices (iOS/Android).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work at walk-up helpdesk and via remote tools.
• Able to work in field at campus locations.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (MacOS, Windows, iOS, Android, Linux).
• Perform break/fix for hardware and software, including OS, network, and applications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
