Job summary

STV is seeking a Project Manager–Higher Education to lead capital projects on campus in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. You will coordinate planning, design, and construction from concept to closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and university stakeholders, with a focus on safety, sustainability, and institutional standards.

Qualifications

• Educational background in CM/architecture/engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in managing construction projects, higher ed preferred.
• Experience with large-scale, complex institutional projects.
• Familiar with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Procore, Buildertrend or MS Project experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout phases.
• Maintain documentation: contracts, logs, change orders, minutes, reports.
• Facilitate communication among university staff, contractors, and architects.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and sustainability goals.
• Negotiate and administer contracts; approve invoices and change orders.
• Lead meetings and report progress to leadership and stakeholders.
