Job summary

Aztec Shops on the SDSU campus is seeking a Full Time Campus Catering Operations Manager to oversee daily catering operations, ensure events are prepared, and coordinate equipment, inventory, and staffing for campus events.

The role requires coordinating with the Senior Event Manager, General Manager, culinary and sales teams, vendors, and campus partners to deliver consistently high-quality services while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 2+ years in high-volume catering with supervisory experience.
• Strong communications, customer service, and computer literacy required.
• ServSafe or Food Handlers Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop catering staff, assign work priorities, and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate event readiness, equipment, inventory, and fleet requirements.
• Plan schedules based on staff availability and update daily event trackers.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Maintain strong collaboration with campus partners, vendors, and sales teams.
