Job summary

CT State Community College, Asnuntuck Campus in Enfield, CT, seeks a durational Building Superintendent 2. The role oversees custodial services, minor maintenance, and building operations on a 37.5-hour work week with a 1st shift schedule.

The incumbent will supervise staff, ensure safety and compliance, manage maintenance requests, and coordinate with contractors as needed. Strong leadership and on-site technical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in building management or operation/maintenance of buildings.
• Three (3) years in a supervisory capacity in building maintenance or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, assigns, and reviews work of staff.
• Provides staff training and assistance.
• Conducts performance evaluations.
• Plans building maintenance work and priorities.
• Maintains building maintenance procedures and standards.
• Prepares reports and correspondence.
• Responds to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
