Job summary

CT State Community College is seeking an Associate Dean of Campus Operations to lead day-to-day campus facilities, maintenance, custodial services, IT, emergency preparedness, and auxiliary services. You will assist the President/CEO with budget management and act as a liaison with local and state officials.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least five years in higher education administration, with three years supervising staff, and a strong track record in budget and facilities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an appropriate field with five or more years of experience in higher education or academic administration, including supervision of staff.
• Experience in budget and fiscal management, facilities planning, and campus operations.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget and fiscal management for the campus.
• Lead facilities and capital planning and management for campus needs.
• Direct campus operations and campus safety initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and security measures.
• Manage business and auxiliary operations and advise the campus leadership.
