Job summary

Follett Corporation is seeking a Store Manager I to lead bookstore operations at the campus store in Florida. You will hire, train, supervise, and motivate managers and staff, develop operating plans, and maintain strong campus relations while delivering high levels of customer service.

You will guide course materials activities, meet General Merchandise expectations, and demonstrate Follett systems and strategies.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Retail management or strong customer service experience; academic retail experience a plus; strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle talent management, including recruiting, training, coaching and development for staff at multiple levels.
• Prepare and implement operating plans for all store departments for standard operations and events.
• Develop and maintain positive campus relationships with administration, athletics, faculty and staff to expand partnerships.
• Oversee course materials operations, inventory planning and interactions with faculty to secure adopted titles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create an engaging store environment with strong visual presentation.
• Monitor store financials and labor budgets to drive sales and improve efficiency.
